Lan NGUYEN is a Co-founder of Veramine Inc., an US-based company specialized in building cybersecurity products, that have been awarded contracts worth multi-million USDs from U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Airforce, ANZ Bank in Australia, and other important customers. Veramine are also recommended by DHS as a platform for financial and banking sector customers.
He was the Publicity Chair and an Organizing Committee member of Asiacrypt 2016, one of the three most prestigious venues in cryptology that are held as flagship conferences of International Association of Cryptologic Research (IACR). Before Veramine, he did several projects in Security and Cryptography at Microsoft Research in Redmond, USA for 9 years, and was also a member of Microsoft Crypto Board that review and advise Microsoft product teams on cryptography. He won Australasian Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Commendation, as the annual best runner-up PhD Thesis in Computing in Australia and New Zealand.
